The story began over sixty years ago when the founder of Budge fabricated a car cover from a shower curtain and captured the imagination of the marketplace.
Today, Budge continues the tradition as the leader in the Industry. Our covers are no longer made of shower curtain material, but of the most technically advanced materials available on the market. Budge is partnered with DuPont and Polymer Group (PGI), technology leaders in advanced materials.
From our humble beginnings, Budge Industries, LLC has grown to be he most recognized name in vehicle protection, with sales across North America. Most Automotive and Mass Merchandise retailers throughout North America offer a selection of Budge products. Our products can also be found in many fine catalogues and also on web-retailers. Our corporate objective is to lead the company into the future by applying the lessons of our over sixty five years of experience. Recent initiatives have taken Budge into the Specialty cover market. Beyond our retail presence, Budge also manufactures protective covers for Automakers (OEM), Industrial, Government and Military. These products are manufactured to meet the exacting requirements of each application.
Many automotive manufacturers, including GM and Ford, use our specialty part covers to protect fragile parts in transit. The material used for these parts is specially manufactured for this application by DuPont. Working with DuPont material engineers, Budge was instrumental in the development of a special version of DuPont Tyvek® that satisfied the critical needs of these manufacturers. Custom covers for the aerospace industry and U.S. Military are also specialized applications.
